The moon Rabbit Lumiere
Introduction
The Moon Rabbit Lumiere
About Amanda Parer & her art installation
Australian artist, Amanda Parer is the principal creative of Parer Studio. Inspired by the dramatic Tasmanian landscape, Parer’s artwork explores the natural world, its fragility and the role of humanity within it. Her massive inflatable artworks utilize a play of scale, light, dark, drama, and humor to create images designed to present critically important issues while delighting the viewer.
The giant rabbits of intrude were inspired by the impact of rabbits on the environment of Australia. Amanda’s strong visual humor tells a cautionary tale reminding us of the importance of the balance of nature, and our human responsibility to the world around us.
The Intrude has reached over 6 million people worldwide and over 1 million views of uploaded videos on YouTube. International media outlets are eager to report on the installation wherever it is exhibited.
Parer Studio art installations have been on continual display since 2014 and have been exhibited in 100 cities around the globe. They continue to capture public and media attention wherever they go.
