CityGates Outlets and Sanrio Hong Kong Collaborate to Launch Hello Kitty Seven Wonders with Real-World Activations at Hong Kong’s Citygate Outlets

In 2023 summer, Citygate Outlets and AI metaverse have joined hands to present the ‘Summer Exploration: Hello Kitty Seven Wonders in MetaGaia’.

 

This unique online-to-offline ‘metatainment’ experience allows fans of Hello Kitty to indulge in an adventure like never before. Through the dedicated mobile app, adventurers can explore a world of virtual and real encounters, which includes mini AR filters and a treasure hunt for gems by scanning AR triggers all over the place. Hello Kitty fans can also cheer on the beloved character as they embark on a thrilling expedition to win fabulous prizes by completing different missions.

At the heart of this wonderland are five photo opportunities that visitors cannot miss. The six-meter-tall inflatable ‘Ruler Hello Kitty’ will be greeting visitors at The Piazza on L4, and the immersive ‘Unicorn Castle’ at The Atrium on L2, measuring also six metres in height, comes to life with multimedia light shows at regular intervals. Hello Kitty will turn out for selfie moments with fans at the ‘Peridot Mine’ Pop-up Store, ‘Ruby Bakery’, and ‘Sapphire Boutique’ in her brand-new looks.
