NINA Park Summer Event

Introduction

Nina Mall x Nina Park Primaveral Forest

This summer, Nina Mall, the flagship mall of the Chinachem Group in Tsuen Wan West, will take you through time and space to explore the ancient world.

Visitors can have a sneak peak into Nina Park (opening at the end of the year) by embarking on a journey back into ancient times through their four senses: sight, hearing, smell and touch.

This urban oasis themed on petrified wood includes more than 100 pieces of precious wood fossil collections. Millions of years of history are displayed and combined with innovative technology, experience halls for guests to understand the earth and interactive ways to understand the mysteries of nature.

Edutainment on history of the earth
As Hong Kong’s first and only petrified wood park with more than 100 pieces of precious wood fossil collections, NINA Park wanted to share the history of earth with their visitors through Edutainment (Education + Entertainment) combined with innovative technology

Forest of Exploration
Entering the atrium of the shopping mall is the “Forest of Exploration”.

Walk on the soft grass, listen to the soothing sounds of the forest, and stand under three giant four-metre-tall trees decorated with ring lights. Breathing in the fresh forest aroma (phytoncide) immediately brings you the relaxing feeling of being in the ancient forest.

6-metre-tall inflatable mammoth
In order to create instagrammable place and awareness in the city, a 6-meter-tall giant inflatable mammoth was set up at the main entrance of the outdoor piazza of NINA Mall 1 for visitors to take photos with.

Cooperation with Social Enterprises for positive brand perception

Apart from the edutainment of the history of earth and mysteries of nature, NINA Mall also wanted to promote the importance of environmental protection. In cooperation with Social Enterprises, Nina Mall provided workshops for participants to explore nature and learn about plants and petrified wood.

Also, visitors could have hands-on experience on how to use vegetable dyes and make recycled paper.

Forest Corridor
Journey through the “Forest Corridor” which connects Nina Mall 1 and Nina Mall 2. This trail connects the forest and the city seamlessly, forming a perfect exploration route for shoppers.
